Bowes Park Community Garden, North London
client: Haringey Council
Haringey Council has embarked on reclaiming waste ground in North London
and turning them into community garden areas for local residents to
enjoy a 'peaceful & green' time.
They were keen that these gardens were 'branded' appropriately and had
a community feel, and would not be mistaken as a usual council park.
They approached us to produce a set of unique icons displaying the rules
of the garden in a less 'council' manner. A
separate secure notice-board displaying opening times and details was
created and produced. The centre was given it's sense of community by
the creation of a hand-painted wrought iron arch above the entrance.
